What should I include in my resume & cover letter for a preschool teacher job?

Would someone be able to provide an example of a good cover letter and resume for a preschool teacher? Thanks.

  • Hi Bornonwednesday,
I recommend that you search the Internet using Google and type in the ‘search-box’ -
Creative Job Search – Minnesota. You will find all the information you need to complete your resume, Cover letter and much more.

Another book you can get from your local library is – What Color is Your Parachute By: Richard N Bolles – it is a Job Search and Career Guide Bible. The current edition is 2009.

    Best wishes for your future.

  • first u add ur address particulars and then add ur qualification details and u must have sufficient patience and interest to deal with pre school children why because they are new to the schooling pattern they don’t have sit even an hour without their parents and home

  • Here’s an article about teaching resumes and cover letters:

    Key points

Why do you want to be a teacher?

Do you have the necessary qualifications?

What professional experience do you have that qualifies you to be a
    teacher?

What are your long term professional goals?

  • Include your education, relevant experience, and work experience. In your cover letter, use adjectives to describe yourself that would be good qualities for a preschool teacher. Experience is the most important thing!
    Here are some examples: http://www.exforsys.com/career-center/sample-resumes/sample-resume-preschool-teacher-resume.html
    Good luck!
